Fast track bill expected to clear US Senate after the compromise between Senate Democrats and Republicans. Next pit stop at House of Congress which is expected to be deeply divided on the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) Bill. TPP is a mega regional free trade agreement involving 12 nations and representing some 40% of the world's GDP. TPP is expected to reduce trade barriers among these countries and lowering tariffs for commodity such as rice, textile, trucks and cars. Besides, the agreement will also bring about a stricter enforcement on rules affecting labour, environment, legal protection and copyright protection.
