And then we had the briyani after waiting almost for an hour or so. The queue was long, gentle reminder if you want to go down. And by the time we reached the stallfront, there were "daging sudah habis!!!" (no more mutton briyani) being echoed out by the shop staffs. We were kinda disappointed but there's a saying - "If it's your rezki (good fortune), it's shall be yours". So we tried asking, and haha yup, you guess it right, we were probably the last customers to get their mutton briyani.

All my life, I have eaten briyani of all sorts and this is by far, silent me as I ate. I was simply blown away and we believe, a good briyani doesn't need a serving of dalcha to go along with it. This is a good briyani and darn it doesn't need that dalcha. Will I make a trip down again? Yes I will, cos' it be a trip worth making.

So a friend of mine suggested this briyani at Boon Lay Market. We were a little too early, and considering we were famished, we ordered the prata first and I must say this - it.was.amazing. It deserves a post by itself. The dalcha was smooth and flavourful, with bits of meat and fat along with it. The fish curry was spicely perfected, not too spicy though. I had mine combined, poured over the prata and as we call it "kuah banjir" (flooded with gravy). The prata itself, ok la, I can't find words to describe any further. It was just too good. Just go down and try it out!! 😀
