A key takeaway from our recent health talk: “If you wait for symptoms, you’re already late.”
With colorectal cancer, early stages are often silent, which is why screening isn’t about reacting, but getting ahead of it. A few highlights worth keeping in mind:
• Screening usually starts from age 50, but earlier if there’s family history
• It’s not a one-time check, consistency matters over time
• You may feel completely fine and still be at risk
• Everyday choices such as diet, weight, alcohol, smoking — all play a role
