Something I have been thinking of today.

Why don't we solve homelessness. Can't the govornments finance clean, safe and warm shelters where homeless people could get access to clean drinking water, food and sanitation.

Why don't we do more.

And if you are thinking of doing more, go and talk to a homeless person, buy them a cup of coffee and ask them how they are.

I know that Subway used to give them sandwiches.

Are you interested in driving changes in your organisations?

When problems happen inside your organisation from turnover, human errors, low engagement, loss in profitability, custumer dissatisfaction, employee disatisfaction, low custumer retention, falling growth, wars, etc.

You need to implement changes inside your organisation to achieve improvements of the system.

This all drives the positive changes in the system that move you from negative changes to positive changes. In improving attractive employer brand, reduction in human errors, increase in engagement, increase in profitability, increase in customer satisfaction. increase in safety, retention of key employees, improvement of service, growth,....

Design positive changes inside your organisation. By implementing changes in external and internal environment.

I believe that one of the main problems in why there is a gender pay gap exist is in the fact that the women are often rejected for asking for a raise in salary. We are often those who are afraid to ask for a raise, while men are allowed to do this. It is one of the stereotypes that we hold when women ask for a raise that they may seem difficult. But to break down the barriers dare to ask for more for yourself.

If you are an employer or an HR personnel, break down those barriers and allow the women to get a higher raise, if they deserve. Look into the bias that it is between men and women.

Another reason is that women often work on lower positions then men, which is why it is of crucial importance that we need to help women get into power. On the other hand we must also consider to increase the pay for those roles that are often primarily occupied by women, such as care, social work or teaching.

Let's look into what is creating the gap and overcome the gaps that is preventing women from also asking for a raise and receiving one.
