DR PRINCE ALEX HARDING SEALS THE SLPP CAMPAIGN TRAIL IN KABALA.
Wednesday, 29th September 2021, the SLPP National Chairman, Dr Prince Alex Harding was in Kabala town to seal the campaign trail of SLPP candidate, Alhaji Sheku Koroma in the upcoming Koinadugu District local council chairman bye-election scheduled to be held on 2nd October 2021.
Dr Harding was in Kabala to represent the President and leader of SLPP, Dr Julius Maada Bio in finalizing the campaign trail that ended in Kabala town. According to political pundits, the Saturday election is a litmus test of how the people of Koinadugu district appreciate the SLPP and President Bio's implementation of major development projects. Such as Agriculture, Education, Health Care, Electricity and Road infrastructure in the district.
While establishing his reason for behind his visit to their district, the SLPP National Chairman stated that he was not in Kabala town to give them false hopes in the name of campaigning, but to tell the people of Koinadugu what are the projects that President Julius Maada Bio New Direction government is currently implementing in their district couple with those that he will soon announce for the district. He urged the people of the Koinadugu district to vote overwhelmingly for Alhaji Sheku Koroma who is the SLPP candidate in the Saturday election. Dr Harding ended with a word of caution to the people of Koinadugu district not to allow themselves to be fool by the APC lies, negative propaganda and tribal messages as he believes that "APC nor good for dem sef, dem nor good for Salone"
While responding to Dr Harding, the various youth groups stated that they can not abandon the type of developmental projects that are being undertaken by the SLPP government for the opposition All People's Congress who believe in nothing but lies and negative propaganda. "For show say we nor to Munku na Koinadugu", we will solidly vote for the SLPP candidate in Saturday's election. The Chairman of the Motor Bike Riders Union said.
The SLPP final campaign strategy was quite a huge success as people of diverse backgrounds galvanised in the major Streets of Kabala town to rally with the SLPP young, dynamic, developmentally oriented candidate in appreciation of the progress made by the SLPP government across all the sectors. With the look of things, political analysts are saying that the outcome can not be different.
Among other SLPP stalwarts present at Thursday's campaign trail were the SLPP National Secretary who doubles as the Deputy Anthony General and Minister of Justice; Mr Umaru Napoleon Koroma(Esq), Minister of Works and Public Assets; Mr Peter Bayuku Conteh, Deputy Minister of Political and Public Affairs; Mr Amara Kallon etc.
