As we prepare to join over 200 countries in celebrating Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) 2025, Sierra Leone is set to host a transformative week of innovation, collaboration and opportunity.
From AI training for hubs and entrepreneurship workshops to the Dare 2 Aspire Women in Entrepreneurship program and Sustainable Fashion showcases, this year’s GEW will spotlight youth-driven initiatives, exhibitions, impact-focused partnerships and climate-conscious innovation.

Global Entrepreneurship Week 2025, Day 3 focuses on education, innovation and skills for growth empowering youths, startups and entrepreneurs to strengthen their business foundations and scale with purpose.
From workshops on entrepreneurship in education to business clinics covering compliance, funding readiness and unlocking Sierra Leone’s informal economy, this day will bridge learning and opportunity turning ideas into sustainable impact.

As part of the upcoming Global Entrepreneurship Week 2025, Day 2 will spotlight the power of AI-driven innovative tools in equipping hubs, tech-preneurs and ecosystem enablers with the skills to design smarter projects, deliver impactful services and accelerate digital transformation.
Through practical workshop, real-world case studies and collaboration sessions, participants will explore how AI can unlock new opportunities for inclusive growth and sustainable development.

We are kicking off Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) 2025 this November with Day 1 themed “Together We Build.”

Hosted at the Orange Digital Centre, the opening day will bring together entrepreneurs, development partners and ecosystem leaders for inspiring keynote sessions, collaborative panel discussions and an Entrepreneur Spotlight & Exhibition Tour, all centered on youth-driven innovation, impact-focused partnerships, and inclusive growth.

Throwback to GEW 2024 - Day 1: The Intersection of Public Policy & Entrepreneurship

In 2024, Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) Sierra Leone, we began with a bold dialogue “The Intersection of Public Policy and Entrepreneurship.” The session brought together government officials, innovators and development leaders to explore how policy can unlock the full potential of entrepreneurship in Sierra Leone.

That conversation laid the foundation for the next chapter- one of collaboration, inclusivity and growth.

As we return for GEW 2025 under the global theme “Together We Build,” this year’s Day 1 discussion - “Unlocking Sierra Leone’s Next 5 Years of Entrepreneurship” will take the dialogue further.
It’s not just about identifying challenges anymore, but building the systems, partnerships and opportunities that make entrepreneurship thrive.
