๐ ABOUT THE ROLE
The Programme Manager will provide strong leadership and management of the project team and partners, ensuring the successful delivery of the Yoti Yoti Livelihoods Project, which aims to strengthen vulnerable households' resilience to food and nutrition insecurity in Tonkolili and Port Loko Districts.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Leading and managing project teams and partners
โ
Planning, implementation, budgeting and reporting
โ
Managing project budgets and monitoring expenditure
โ
Supervising and mentoring District Programme Managers
โ
Supporting MEAL, advocacy and learning activities
โ
Coordinating with Government Ministries and district stakeholders
โ
Conducting regular supportive supervision visits to project locations
โ
Building strong relationships with implementing partners
โ
Ensuring compliance with donor and Concern Worldwide requirements
๐ Approximately 70% of the role will involve field visits and supportive supervision.
๐ ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Applicants should have:
๐น A degree in Agriculture, Agri-Economics, Natural Resources Management, International Development, Social Sciences or a related field, or accepted equivalent professional experience.
๐น At least 5 years of relevant programme management experience
๐น Experience managing livelihoods programmes in Sierra Leone
๐น Experience managing consortia projects and working with national partners
๐น Proven experience in team leadership, line management and staff development
๐น Strong budgeting and financial management skills
๐น Excellent English writing, communication and presentation skills
๐น Strong planning, organizational, negotiation and representation skills
โญ DESIRABLE
Experience in areas such as:
โข Climate-smart and adaptive approaches
โข Nutrition
โข Natural resource management
โข Environmental programmes
โข System strengthening
โข Core Humanitarian Standards (CHS)
โข Proposal development
โข Working with Government ministries, NGOs, INGOs and private-sector partners
๐ฃ๏ธ Strong spoken Temne and Krio are desirable.
