Kissy Sierra Leone Stake observed the All Africa Service Project Day at the National Fire Force, Kissy.

In a powerful demonstration of faith, unity, and community service, members of the Kissy Sierra Leone Stake of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints joined thousands of Church members across Africa today for the All-Africa Service Project.

The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm, teamwork, and genuine joy as participants devoted their time and energy to improving the environment. What began as a service activity became a powerful expression of the Church's commitment to strengthening communities and making a positive difference wherever its members live and worship.

For members, however, the experience was about more than cleaning a building. It was an opportunity to live a fundamental principle of their faith: “When ye are in the service of your fellow beings, ye are only in the service of your God.” — Mosiah 2:17.

The Kossoh Town Stake of participated in the All Africa Service Project today, 15th August, 2026 by cleaning, painting and beautifying the Benevolent Islamic Primary School in Hastings, Freetown.

With willing hearts and helping hands, members, missionaries, and leaders worked together to transform the school environment and contribute to a brighter, more welcoming space for pupils and the wider community.

The project was more than a day of cleaning and painting — it was an opportunity to live the timeless teaching: “When ye are in the service of your fellow beings, ye are only in the service of your God.” — Mosiah 2:17.

Serving with Love: Kenema East Stake's All Africa Service Project

Today, August 15, 2026, members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from the Kenema East Stake came together in a powerful display of Christian service, participating in the annual All Africa Service Project at the Malian Hospital in Tonkoh, Lower Bambaya Chiefdom.
The volunteers dedicated their day to cleaning, clearing, and improving the hospital grounds and facilities to create a safer, more hygienic environment for patients and medical staff.
The impact of their labor was deeply felt by those who serve the community daily. Nurse Elizabeth of the Malian Hospital expressed heartfelt gratitude to the members, praising their selfless dedication, hard work, and commitment to uplifting others.
Through acts of hands-on service like this, the Saints in Kenema continue to follow the example of Jesus Christ by blessing their community and making a tangible difference in Sierra Leone.
