A total of 1,645 confirmed Ebola cases and 523 confirmed deaths have been reported, with a Case Fatality Rate (CFR) of 31.8%. 12,417 contacts remain under follow-up.

🇨🇩 Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) remains the epicenter, reporting 1,624 cases and 521 deaths, including new cases and deaths reported in the past week.

🇺🇬 Uganda has reported 20 confirmed cases and 2 deaths, with no new confirmed cases during the reporting period.

🇫🇷 France has reported one imported confirmed case, with no additional cases or deaths.

🇸🇴 𝐒𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐚 𝐒𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧
Somalia remains free of confirmed Ebola cases. However, due to ongoing transmission in the region, Somalia remains at high risk of Ebola importation, requiring continued surveillance, preparedness, and rapid response capacity.

The Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) has reported 544 confirmed Ebola cases, including 88 deaths, 16 recoveries, and 29 cases among health workers. Uganda has reported 19 confirmed cases, with 2 deaths, 4 recoveries, and 5 cases among health workers.

These figures highlight the continued need for strong surveillance, rapid response, infection prevention and control measures, and community awareness to help contain the outbreak and protect public health.

𝐄𝐁𝐎𝐋𝐀 𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐁𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐊 𝐔𝐏𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄
As of 04 June 2026, the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and Uganda continue to report Ebola cases. The DRC has recorded 381 confirmed cases, 62 deaths, 6 recoveries, and 29 cases among health workers, while Uganda has reported 16 confirmed cases, 1 death, 2 recoveries, and 5 cases among health workers. Together, the two countries have reported 397 confirmed cases, 63 deaths, 8 recoveries, and 34 cases among health workers. These figures highlight the importance of continued surveillance, prevention, and response efforts to control the outbreak.
