Training on Building Customer Care Skills for Entrepreneurs – Baidoa

Yesterday, we successfully conducted a well-organized training titled “Building Customer Care Skills for Entrepreneurs” in Baidoa, Somalia.

The training focused on quality customer service and highlighted the importance of customer retention for business growth and sustainability.

Participants included representatives from:

Government officials

South West State (SWS) Ministry of Commerce and Industry

Local authorities

SWS Chamber of Commerce

Banks and Microfinance Institutions (MFIs)

Private sector businesses

Business associations

International Non-Governmental Organizations (INGOs)

During the training, KASMO organized a customer service role-play/show to demonstrate and compare different ways of serving customers. This practical exercise helped participants clearly understand the impact of good and poor customer service.

Following the customer service show, participants engaged in in-depth discussions and shared insights on best practices for serving customers and the value of customer satisfaction and loyalty in strengthening their businesses.

The training enhanced participants’ understanding of effective customer care and reinforced the critical role customers play in business success.
