RYLA Suriname RYLA stands for Rotary Youth Leadership Awards and is a Rotary-Rotaract conference. The conference will be held in the first week of march.

RYLA stands for Rotary Youth Leadership Awards and is a Rotary-Rotaract conference, where young people ages 14 to 30 are challenged during an intensive weekend to discover their leadership skills and develop them through exercise and relaxation . The participating countries are Suriname, Guyana and French-Guiana. During this weekend, participants are presented with the opportunity to develop their

leadership skills and to train the following competences:
- Leadership fundamentals and ethics
- Communication skills
- Problem solving and conflict management
- Public Speaking
- Negotiation
