Achter elk succesvol evenement staat een team dat ervoor zorgt dat alles veilig, georganiseerd en professioneel verloopt.

Tijdens “From Student to Professional: Industry Readiness & Leadership Forum 2026” werden verschillende onderdelen van event operations ondersteund door studenten die vrijwillig hebben bijgedragen aan de uitvoering van dit CSR-initiatief.

Deze studenten deden praktijkervaring op in onder andere:
-project management support;
-event planning en event ex*****on;
-registratie en attendee management;
-crowd control;
-safety awareness;
-logistieke coördinatie;
-stakeholder ondersteuning;
-communicatie en informatievoorziening;
-operationele ondersteuning op de eventvloer.

Door hun inzet hebben zij niet alleen bijgedragen aan het succes van het evenement, maar ook waardevolle ervaring opgedaan in teamwork, verantwoordelijkheid, leiderschap, planning en professionele uitvoering.

Recap of “From Student to Professional: Industry Readiness & Leadership Forum 2026”.

What started as a vision to prepare and empower the next generation became a reality through collaboration and community support.

Our initial KPI was to reach 900 students.
We are proud to share that 857 students officially registered and attended the forum.

This milestone reflects the growing interest, awareness and readiness among Surinamese youth to prepare themselves for opportunities within developing industries and supporting sectors.

To every student, speaker, sponsor, volunteer, school, partner and contributor:
thank you for being part of this movement toward leadership, professionalism, human capital development and sustainable impact.

This is only the beginning!

Meet the Speakers of “From Student to Professional: Industry Readiness & Leadership Forum 2026”.

Professionals from the offshore, operations, logistics, HSSEQ, manpower and business sectors came together to share practical insight, real industry expectations and lessons learned with the next generation of students in Suriname.

Each speaker contributed from their own field of expertise with one common objective: preparing students for professionalism, discipline, leadership and industry readiness within rapidly developing sectors. This initiative was built to bridge awareness with reality and ambition with preparation.

Tijdens “From Student to Professional: Industry Readiness & Leadership Forum 2026” was het inspirerend om te zien hoeveel studenten niet alleen geïnteresseerd waren in de offshore- en energiesector, maar ook actief hun eigen visie, ambities en ideeën met ons wilden delen.

Verschillende studenten deelden initiatieven en ontwikkelingsideeën die direct aansluiten op ondersteunende sectoren en toekomstige mogelijkheden binnen Suriname, waaronder:

Employee Assistance Programs, inclusief psychologie en mentale ondersteuning;
- De creatie van AI-chatbots en applicaties waarin correcte informatie over Suriname geïntegreerd wordt om internationale zichtbaarheid en herkenning van Suriname te versterken;
- Event management en professionele event ex*****on;
- Nutrition and food supply concepten;
- Infrastructuurontwikkeling gericht op modernisering;
- Architectuur in duurzaam community development rekening houdend met AI development.

Dit bevestigt dat de volgende generatie verder denkt dan traditionele functies alleen. Jongeren denken mee over systemen, innovatie, ondersteuning, dienstverlening, technologie en duurzame ontwikkeling binnen hun eigen gemeenschap en land.

Wij kijken ernaar uit om deze ontwikkeling verder te ondersteunen.

Faerber Consultancy wil speciaal de studenten en begeleiders van Scholengemeenschap Moengo bedanken voor hun aanwezigheid en participatie tijdens het recent gehouden “From Student to Professional: Industry Readiness & Leadership Forum 2026”.

Ondanks de afstand was het belangrijk voor ons dat ook studenten uit Moengo deel konden uitmaken van dit initiatief gericht op industry readiness, leadership, professionalism en persoonlijke ontwikkeling.

Een bijzondere dank gaat uit naar Garage Ashruf voor de flexibele ondersteuning en het faciliteren van het transport, waardoor deze studenten de mogelijkheid hebben gekregen om aanwezig te zijn en onderdeel te worden van deze ervaring.
