What is UAF, and why does it matter?
When people think about ISO certification, they often focus on the standard itself. But there's another important question:
Who stands behind the certificate?
Behind every accredited ISO certificate is an international system designed to ensure confidence, impartiality and consistency.
UAF (United Accreditation Foundation) accredits certification bodies in accordance with international standards. As a signatory to the IAF Multilateral Recognition Arrangement (MLA), UAF is part of a global framework that supports the international recognition of accredited certification.
For organizations, this means greater confidence that their certification has been issued through an accredited and independently assessed certification process.
At Multi Certifications Suriname N.V., certification audits are conducted locally by qualified auditors, while certificates are issued by IFC Global LLC, an accredited Certification Body under UAF.
Because confidence doesn't begin with the certificate itself, it begins with the accreditation behind it.
