15 Years of Patriotism—More Than a T-Shirt, More Than a Celebration
For more than 15 years, I have been producing patriotic garments and materials for South Sudan. For me, patriotism has never been about making money or simply wearing a piece of cloth. It is about pride, freedom, the sacrifices made by our heroes and heroines, the vision of our founding fathers, and the deep love we share for our country, South Sudan.
Over the years, I have celebrated Independence Day, participated in countless patriotic activities, and produced T-shirts and branding materials for national events, independence celebrations, basketball tournaments, youth activities, and community initiatives. Every design has carried a message of unity, hope, and national pride.
As we prepare to celebrate the 15th Independence Anniversary of South Sudan, I want this year to be different. I want us to celebrate in a more meaningful and patriotic way.
Today, I am calling upon all South Sudanese, young and old, men and women, at home and abroad, to join me on this journey of patriotism. It does not matter where you come from, your tribe, your profession, or your political views. What matters is what we can do together for South Sudan.
How can we build peace if we do not first love our country? How can we achieve development if we do not take pride in being South Sudanese? Nation-building begins with each one of us.
