JIA Service Road Work Progressing Well

The service road at Juba International Airport is gradually taking shape as construction continues. The upgraded road will improve access and traffic flow around the airport for passengers and staff.

Attackers killed a driver on the Juba-Bor Road.

An eyewitness, Anai Dot, said unknown gunmen attacked cars traveling from Juba to Bor, leaving one person dead.

As one of the passengers in one of the attacked cars, Dot said the incident occurred in the afternoon.

"Today at 4:00 PM, I left Juba heading to Bor town. As we reached Kor-Makuach before Mangala Payam, armed men spread bullets on the first car that was ahead of us, killing the driver and also shot the driver of the second car, injuring the driver's arm," he said.

He added that the attackers looted the properties of the passengers and ran away.

Dot called on the government to investigate.

City Council and Civil Aviation Authority announce temporary closure of Airport Drive for maintenance

Airport Drive, specifically the section from Crown Hotel near Muduria Roundabout to the Juba International Airport gate, will be closed on Saturday and Sunday to allow for maintenance works.

Motorists are advised to use alternative routes over the weekend to avoid inconvenience.
