Good afternoon fellows,
Rumors have it that huge number of unidentified soldiers from Mayom County, heavily equiped with ammunition and logistics have entered Aneet of Twic County without departure order and military uniforms. They have been hosted one reportedly prominent Abyei son in Deng Mathiang Primary School's premise. It's rumored that 2 in every 3 soldiers hold PKM and other numerous weapons like RPG , artilleries etcetera. The commander who was stationed in Aneet Payam of Twic County has relocated to Majak Kol for his safety.

Please be informed that there is a credible threat from Nuer militias in Unity State, who are planning to raid the Mangok Amuol Boma in Turalei. The Nuer militias are currently positioned in Toch. Additionally, there is a concern regarding a general of the Nuer militias in Abyei, who may coordinate an attack on Gök Twic County simultaneously.

Reports indicate potential security concerns in Toch Twic Mayardit , Apuk, and Lou Ariik due to alleged Nuer raiders and Nuer SPLA-IO Whites Army activities. Toch Amiol residents are advised to exercise caution tonight amidst rumors of an impending military presence. Precautionary measures are recommended to mitigate potential risks associated with the alleged Dr. Riek Machar Whites Army. Twic Mayardit families in Tochthok are advised to relocate vulnerable individuals, including children and elderly, to safer areas. The current commissioner of Twic County is urged to mobilize available security forces, including police and TiitWeng, to prevent potential conflicts.

'Cartels in Kiir's office behind UPDF encroachment'

A national MP says people he called "cartels" inside the Office of the President are supporting the Uganda People's Defense Forces' (UPDF) incursion into South Sudanese territory for personal benefit.

Bol Joseph Agau, an MP representing Lakes State's Yirol West County condemned what he terms 'the sale of territorial integrity' by a few individuals whom he claims are within President Kiir’s circle.

“We might rise one day and find out that Juba County is one of the districts of the Republic of Uganda. As we speak, Uganda has encroached the whole KajoKeji,” Bol Joseph asserts.

“Magwi County, as we speak, is under the control of Ugandan armed forces. To make this issue very bad and ugly, Uganda has flown over us here, leaving us in Juba, and UPDF is now operating in Raja County. As we speak, they are in Wau.”

Hon. Agau also claimed that the UPDF has taken control of over 200 villages in Kajo Keji County of Central Equatoria, Magwi County in Eastern Equatoria State, and Raja County in Western Bahr el Ghazal State. He stated that this is all facilitated by the security apparatus within the office of President Kiir.

Tanzanian police on Sunday arrested senior leaders of the opposition CHADEMA party and hundreds of its supporters ahead of a meeting in the nation’s southwestern region.

Included among the people arrested are CHADEMA’s vice chairman Tundu Lissu and John Mnyika, the party’s secretary general.

The arrest of Lissu and other opposition leaders came hours after police had banned a conference planned by CHADEMA’s youth wing, saying the event would be unpeaceful, adding that the leaders planned to influence young people to demonstrate in Mbeya.

In response, John Mrema, CHADEMA’s spokesperson, said the conference was to celebrate International Youth Day, where senior officials would be given a platform to address the nation’s young demographic.

This come following the tension between Ngok & Nuer armed groups since last week after their relationship shrinks and resorted to intense fighting on January 2024 that amounted to the killing of over 70s people that included children .
