Concern South Sudan and RAK Media Group signed a Memorandum of Understanding to work together and champion a common course in women and youth empowerment.

The two institutions are expected to begin the work earlier next year, where vulnerable women and youth will be engaged in economic, social, and sports activities.

We have partnered with the office of the first lady to organize, the Rak media women and youth empowerment summit for South Sudan

The RAK Media Women and Youth Empowerment Summit will be a two-day event where we will be tackling three thematic areas that have notably been problem statements that the South Sudan Women and Youth have had to deal; Economic empowerment, Gender based violence & Quality education and returnees.
The program will consist of international speakers, local experts/policy makers within the Government, UN agencies, and International NGOs, Panel Discussions, Case Studies, and exhibitions by Women and Youth groups in South Sudan. This will be crowned by a Musical Concert by an international artist. Local dance groups to showcase South Sudanese culture will also be present. All will be crowned by a road map for all implementing partners as the key goal will be sustainability.
The theme of this event will be ‘Empowering Women and Youth for a new dawn.’
