More than 20 organizations in South Sudan benefited from Gender Transformative Approach training (GTA). More than 20 representatives from MenEngaged South Sudan member organisations' network benefited from a two-days training on Gender Transformative Approach last year in October. The training, organized by MenEngaged South Sudan with support from SONKE GENDER JUSTICE and HANDLE, gave the members an opportunity to gain vital skills and tools needed for the implementation of gender-sensitive programming, particularly with a focus on positive masculinity, tools, and skills needed to challenge harmful gender norms and promote positive change. Through interactive sessions and thought-provoking discussions, our members gained a deeper understanding of the importance of gender equality and the role they can play in creating a more just and equitable society. We are grateful for the dedication and passion of our donors, SONKE GENDER JUSTICE, HANDLE, facilitators, and members, and we look forward to seeing the impact of this training in the days to come!
