- But we can know the comfort of God in affliction.
- His Word and His promises give us light and hope.
- Life is not just survival, but a flourishing existence in relationship with God.

PRAYER: Lord, thank You that Your promises bring comfort and hope. When I face challenges, remind me that You are with me and that Your Word gives me life and strength. Help me to rest in Your faithful care. Amen.

Then HE said to Thomas, ‘Put your finger here; see My hands. Reach out your hand and put it into My side. Stop doubting and believe.’

- Doubt is not uncommon, it is something we all face from time to time.
- Jesus did not reject Thomas for doubting, but He helped him to believe.
- He will do the same thing for you, Eugene, giving you reason to believe.
- You can never exhaust His love for you, so reach out and touch Him.

PRAYER: Lord, thank You that Your love never fails, even when I struggle with doubt. Help me to trust You more and to rest in Your faithful love and care. Strengthen my faith and draw me closer to You. Amen.

‘You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.’

- You can trust the Lord for provision and security, even in adversity.
- Your enemies are no threat to God.
- The presence of enemies highlights God's ability to provide and protect.
- He can turn potential threats into opportunities for blessing.

PRAYER: Lord, thank You that You provide for me and protect me in every situation. Help me to trust You completely and to see Your goodness, even in difficult times. Amen.

‘As long as it is day, we must do the works of Him Who sent me. Night is coming, when no one can work.’

- The ‘daytime’ of our lives represents a period of opportunity.
- It’s a time during which we can serve God and make a difference.
- The opportunities you have today will not always be there.
- Take hold of the moment and fulfil your mission while you have the chance.

PRAYER: Lord, thank You for the opportunities You have given me today. Help me to use this season wisely, to serve You faithfully, and to make a difference while I can. Give me courage to seize the day and fulfil the purpose You have for my life. Amen.

- Sowing fields is a picture of investing effort and expecting a return.
- A fruitful harvest signifies God's blessing and faithfulness.
- Our ultimate success comes from God's blessing.

PRAYER: Lord, thank You that You desire fruitfulness in my life. Bless the work of my hands and bring a fruitful harvest from every faithful seed I sow. I trust You for increase, favour, and Your blessing. Amen.

- He is faithful in fulfilling His promises.

- The preservation of life is a testament to God's protection and provision.
