Only when all else fails should it be recycled or safely disposed of.

At Eco-Buzz, we’re reminding everyone that the hierarchy of e-waste starts with prevention , buying smart, repairing often, and keeping electronics in use for as long as possible.

And when repair or reuse is no longer an option, Eco-Buzz is here to support proper disposal of all e-waste, including old electronics, toners, and cartridges, ensuring they are handled safely and responsibly.

𝐓𝐈𝐌𝐄 𝐈𝐒 𝐑𝐔𝐍𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐎𝐔𝐓!

We have only 5 years - 1826 days left to achieve the SDGs Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The clock is ticking, and it's time for us to take action.

As Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) emphasizes, "The SDGs are a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity by 2030."

However, many grassroots organizations are struggling, and youths are not showing enough interest. Policies are not working as they should, and the future of food security looks bleak.

When we advocate for proper waste management in our up and coming towns especially the ones which have now taken up housing manufacturing facilities (factory shalls),we not only looking for business as private sector but also try to help the country in combating Environmental degradation.

Today we taking a closer look at textile waste.

Textile waste is an urgent global problem, with only 12 per cent recycled worldwide, according to fashion sustainability nonprofit Ellen MacArthur Foundation. Even less - only one per cent - are castoff clothes recycled into new garments; the majority is used for low-value items like insulation or mattress stuffing.

Nowhere is the problem more pressing than in China, the world's largest textile producer and consumer, where more than 26 million tons of clothes are thrown away each year, according to government statistics. Most of it ends up in landfills.
Now reflecting to the growing textile factories in the country Government ,Town councils or boards and the Private sector should really have a meeting on how to mitigate this growing problem just like E-Waste in the country before we find ourselves facing similar challenges if not there already where dumpsites and Landfills are being filled by such waste yet there are solutions. (Public and Private sector breakfast meeting please)

After the Sustainable Cooling Summit hosted in the Kingdom of Eswatini on the 26th of June 2024 by Eswatini Environment Authority and partners. This is more evidence that the Eswatini construction industry should look deeper into Smart green buildings if we to combat such shocking information.
With that said we believe as Eco-Buzz can help in more sustainable approaches when it comes to Environmental management and Smart Energy savings for Businesses.
