The Ministry of ICT is calling on all content creators in Eswatini to register on the National Content Creators Register.

This is in pursuit of its mandate to drive digital transformation and strengthen Eswatini’s digital economy. The Ministry is creating a national database of content creators aimed at strengthening the creative digital economy, improving engagement with the creative sector, and creating opportunities for collaboration, growth, and future industry initiatives.

This initiative forms part of Government’s broader vision to build an inclusive, innovative, and digitally empowered Eswatini, while ensuring creators are recognized, supported, and included in the country’s growing digital future.

Africa Day reminds us of something beautiful: we are not small. Eswatini may be tiny on a map 🇸🇿, but our ambition doesn’t have to be.

Supporting local is non-negotiable — I’ll always believe that. But for local brands that have outgrown our borders? It’s time to talk about expansion.

Here’s how to prepare — high level, but practical.
1. Admin – Get your house in order first 📑💻
You cannot export without compliance. Proper financial records, tax clearance, registered business name, and — yes — intellectual property protection. No serious partner in South Africa, Kenya, or beyond will touch you if your admin is chaos.

2. Research – Don’t guess, investigate
Before you spend one Lilangeni on expansion, answer these questions:
• Is there actual demand for your product in that country?
• What are the import rules?
• Who are your competitors?
• What does pricing look like?
Visit. Talk to people. Join cross-border trade WhatsApp groups. Ask questions until you’re annoying! 😅

3. Partnerships – You don’t have to go alone
Find a local distributor, agent, or partner in the target country. Someone who understands their market’s culture, language, and payment systems. A good partnership is worth more than a big marketing budget. It can save you thousands in the long run!

Supporting local is beautiful. But thriving across borders? That’s how we build generational wealth for Eswatini, happy African day! 🤓

This 💯💯💯

I wish I knew that support won’t always come from friends and family.

I wish I knew that consistency matters more than motivation.

I wish I knew that some months you’ll feel like giving up… but you still have to show up.
I wish I knew that promoting your business daily is part of the job.
And most importantly… I wish I knew that success takes longer than social media makes it look.

But through all the stress, mistakes, and lessons… business teaches you strength, discipline, and patience. ❤️

To every entrepreneur still fighting for their dream — keep going. One day your story will inspire others 👏🔥
