Bridging AI ambition and ex*****on 🤖

According to Deloitte’s Thailand Digital Transformation Survey 2026 – Enterprise AI Focus, many Thai organisations have yet to embed and integrate AI across their businesses.

The report reveals that most organisations continue to treat AI as an IT initiative rather than a business transformation. Nearly 70% view AI as primarily an IT responsibility instead of a cross-functional business priority.

Our Partners from Audit & Assurance and Tax & Legal were pleased to participate in the SME Business Clinic at the “SME ต้องรอด” event, organised by The Stock Exchange of Thailand.

Under the theme “SME Survival Guide: Is Your Business Ready to Scale?”, our partners provided 1-on-1 consultations to SME business owners, sharing practical insights to help them address business challenges, identify growth opportunities, and strengthen their readiness to scale.

The first edition of the Deloitte Thailand Boardroom Programme’s Board-Ready Women (BRW) Programme has concluded with its final session.

Over the past four months, our 2026 cohort strengthened their understanding of board governance, enhanced their boardroom readiness, and built meaningful connections with fellow cohorts.

The final session opened with welcoming remarks from Subhasakdi Krishnamra, Deloitte Thailand Chair, followed by a “First 180 Days of a Board Director” workshop led by Cheryl Lim, Deloitte Southeast Asia Deputy Global Boardroom Program Leader.

The session featured a panel discussion moderated by Thawatchai Kiatkwankul, Deloitte Thailand Board-Ready Women Programme Leader, featuring Asadej Kongsiri, President of the Stock Exchange of Thailand, and Teeranun Srihong, Chairman of PTG Energy. The panellists shared insights on how future leaders can navigate crises, prepare organisations for uncertainty, lead through challenging times, turn crises into opportunities, and apply lessons from recent crises.

The programme closed with remarks and a certificate presentation by Dr. Metinee Jongsaliswang, Deloitte Thailand and Laos Country Managing Partner and Board Member of Deloitte Asia Pacific and Southeast Asia.

August is our Impact Month — a time for us to turn our shared purpose into action and make a meaningful difference in our communities. 💚

As part of this year’s theme, our “Play with Purpose” volunteering activity brought volunteers together with children from the HDF Mercy Centre for a morning of learning, laughter and play.

Through activities including colouring, Snakes & Ladders, Musical Chairs and the Goal Challenge, our volunteers helped children develop creativity, coordination, confidence and social skills — while creating moments of joy and connection. ✨

A big thank you to everyone who volunteered and brought their energy, enthusiasm and purpose to the day. Together, we showed that even small actions can create meaningful impact. 🙌

We continued our campus roadshow at Thammasat University, Rangsit Campus, connecting with students and sharing insights into Deloitte, our people, career opportunities and what it means to start your career with us.

We were pleased to participate in the Strategic CFO in Capital Markets Programme, 12th Cohort, organised by the Stock Exchange of Thailand. The programme aims to strengthen the capabilities of CFOs of listed companies and companies preparing for an IPO.

Pariwat Luangsuwimol, Technology Strategy & Transformation Director, Deloitte Thailand, joined as a speaker for the session “CFO and Digital Transformation for Future Growth.” The session explored the principles and approaches to driving digital transformation within organisations to prepare for change and enable future growth, while examining key factors that can influence transformation outcomes and sharing relevant real-world case examples.

The programme brought together CFOs and CFO-equivalent executives to exchange perspectives on strategic financial management, capital markets and the evolving role of finance leaders in a rapidly changing business environment.

Building momentum in the digital age 🤖

According to our Thailand Digital Transformation Survey 2026 – Enterprise AI Focus, the proportion of Thai organisations in the "Becoming Digital" stage of maturity increased from 28% to 42% in just one year—a 50% jump. This reflects how more organisations are embracing digital technologies, breaking down silos and driving more advanced transformation across their businesses.

Thailand’s AI adoption is accelerating.

AI-driven business value? Not at quite the same pace.

At the launch of Deloitte’s sixth annual Thailand Digital Transformation Survey in Bangkok, led by Robert Gallagher and Tawin Tusnajareon, we found that:
• Organisations in the mid-to-advanced "Becoming Digital" stage jumped from 28% to 42% in one year
• AI implementation climbing from 47% to 61%
• Yet only 9% have used AI to generate new revenue

The gap is not about the technology. It is about strategy, leadership accountability, data readiness, cyber security, and workforce skills.

The organisations seeing the strongest returns are those redesigning how people and AI work together. At Deloitte, our digital transformation teams are working closely with our clients on this, as our research shows organisations who do this are around twice as likely to exceed their AI ROI expectations.
