Laem Chabang, Thailand – 20 April 2026, Laem Chabang port has officially signed an amendment to the investment concession agreement for Container Terminal B5 at Laem Chabang Port, extending the contract for an additional 5 years. The agreement was signed by Acting Sub Lt. Rutthakorn Khiewpaisal, Deputy director general of the PAT for Finance and Corporate Strategy and acting director general, and Laem Chabang International Terminal Co., Ltd. (LCIT), represented by Mr. Arnop Phornprapha, Director of the Company.
The signing ceremony was held at Tra Thong Room 3, Laem Chabang Port Welfare Center, with senior executives from both public and private sectors in attendance.
Acting Sub Lt. Rutthakorn stated that the agreement extends the concession period from 1 May 2026 to 30 April 2031, in accordance with the Public–Private Partnership Act B.E. 2562 (2019). The extension aims to ensure continuity in the operation of one of the country’s most critical port facilities and to maintain stable and efficient services at Laem Chabang Port, Thailand’s principal deep-sea port.
He added that this collaboration reflects the strong and long-standing partnership between the public and private sectors, while also supporting preparations for the future integration of Container Terminals B1–B5. The integration project is expected to enhance maritime transport capacity and significantly improve the overall efficiency of Thailand’s logistics system.
Under the revised agreement, emphasis is placed on environmentally responsible operations, improved management efficiency, and continuous asset maintenance to ensure readiness and long-term service reliability. The Port Authority of Thailand expressed confidence that this partnership will play a key role in driving the sustainable and resilient growth of Laem Chabang Port, supporting Thailand’s economic expansion and international trade.
On behalf of Laem Chabang International Terminal Co., Ltd., Mr. Arnop Phornprapha expressed sincere appreciation to the Port Authority of Thailand and all relevant agencies for their continued trust and support. He noted that the contract extension represents an important opportunity to further strengthen collaboration and enhance the operational performance of Container Terminal B5, in line with the growing demand for maritime transport and the country’s long-term competitiveness.

ท่าเรือแหลมฉบังต่อสัญญา B5 อีก 5 ปี เดินหน้าควบรวมท่าเทียบเรือชุดบี ยกระดับขนส่งทางน้ำ
ณ วันที่ 20 เม.ย. 2569 ว่าที่ร้อยตรี รัฐกร เขียวไพศาล รองผู้อำนวยการการท่าเรือแห่งประเทศไทย สายบริหารการเงินและกลยุทธ์องค์กร รักษาการแทนผู้อำนวยการการท่าเรือแห่งประเทศไทย เป็นผู้แทนลงนามสัญญาแก้ไขเพิ่มเติมสัญญาลงทุนท่าเทียบเรือตู้สินค้า B5 ท่าเรือแหลมฉบัง ร่วมกับบริษัท แหลมฉบัง อินเตอร์เนชั่นแนล เทอร์มินอล จำกัด โดยมี นายอรรณพ พรประภา กรรมการบริษัทฯ และผู้บริหารทั้งสองฝ่ายเข้าร่วม ณ ห้องแตรทอง 3 ศูนย์สวัสดิการท่าเรือแหลมฉบัง
ว่าที่ร้อยตรี รัฐกร กล่าวว่า การลงนามครั้งนี้เป็นการขยายระยะเวลาสัญญาอีก 5 ปี ตั้งแต่วันที่ 1 พฤษภาคม 2569 ถึง 30 เมษายน 2574 ภายใต้กรอบพระราชบัญญัติการร่วมลงทุนระหว่างรัฐและเอกชน พ.ศ. 2562 เพื่อให้การให้บริการท่าเรือหลักของประเทศเป็นไปอย่างต่อเนื่อง
ทั้งนี้ ความร่วมมือดังกล่าวสะท้อนความสัมพันธ์อันดีระหว่างภาครัฐและเอกชน พร้อมเตรียมความพร้อมรองรับโครงการควบรวมท่าเทียบเรือชุดบี (B1–B5) ในอนาคต ซึ่งจะช่วยเพิ่มศักยภาพการขนส่งทางน้ำ และยกระดับประสิทธิภาพระบบโลจิสติกส์ของประเทศ
ภายใต้สัญญาฉบับใหม่ยังให้ความสำคัญกับการดำเนินงานที่คำนึงถึงสิ่งแวดล้อม การเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพการบริหารจัดการ และการบำรุงรักษาทรัพย์สินให้พร้อมใช้งานอย่างต่อเนื่อง โดยการท่าเรือฯ เชื่อมั่นว่าความร่วมมือครั้งนี้จะเป็นกลไกสำคัญในการผลักดันท่าเรือแหลมฉบัง ให้เติบโตอย่างมั่นคงและยั่งยืน รองรับการขยายตัวทางเศรษฐกิจและการค้าระหว่างประเทศ
ด้านนายอรรณพ พรประภา กรรมการบริษัท แหลมฉบัง อินเตอร์เนชั่นแนล เทอร์มินอล จำกัด กล่าวว่า บริษัทขอขอบคุณการท่าเรือฯ และทุกหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องที่ให้ความไว้วางใจและสนับสนุนการดำเนินงานมาโดยตลอด โดยการขยายสัญญาครั้งนี้ถือเป็นโอกาสสำคัญในการสานต่อความร่วมมือ เพื่อยกระดับประสิทธิภาพการให้บริการท่าเทียบเรือตู้สินค้า B5 รองรับการเติบโตของภาคการขนส่งทางน้ำ และเสริมสร้างขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขันของประเทศในระยะยาว
