Another 'lil piece of hardware! 🥈

This time it was a "klacky klack" because the medal was handmade out of wood. I competed in my first Sportsman category at the Apple Cup Aerobatic Competition in Ephrata, WA - a 730 NM trek! - and took home a medal. It was a blast! With great learnings.

I placed 2nd in my first Sportsman known flight and scored well in the third flight. But I learned a valuable lesson about sequence management on the second flight that I will use as a valuable learning tool going forward.

And I got to enjoy it with my boys Mark Cunningham Rumble B - AJ Wilder Sean D. Tucker 😊

These competitions are exactly where you learn the basics and the fundamentals of exceptional flying. It wasn't a perfect weekend, but it was perfect and valuable on lessons learned to level up at the next contest ✈️

AD Exciting news! I'm thrilled to say we've gotten a fantastic response for the interview with for the "Above the Noise" podcast.

The conversation goes well beyond aviation.

We discussed my path into flying (which definitely didn’t follow a traditional route!), the pivots along the way, and how those experiences shaped how I operate today - in the flight deck and in business.

We also talked about connectivity from a pilot’s perspective, how it plays into real-time decision-making, situational awareness and the way we fly today.

And a big piece of this conversation is the entrepreneurial side: building something from the ground up while staying fully in the work.

AD - Most people see the flying. They don’t always see the winding path that got you there ✈️

I recently sat down with host on the "Above the Noise" podcast and I’m really looking forward to sharing this conversation!

From aviation to entrepreneurship to hardship, loss and resilience, we covered everything.

We talked about how my career hasn’t followed a straight line - along with some of the harder moments along the way, what it takes to keep going and how that shaped the way I approach flying and business today.

We also got into something important in the flight deck: Staying connected at 45,000 feet means access to the people, information and decisions that keep everything moving safely and smoothly.

Klinky klink...again!! 🥇✈️

I'm thrilled to share that I got to top the podium again taking first overall in the Primary category at the NorCal Classic Aerobatic Competition in Tracy, CA! It was a phenomenal contest with gusty winds every single day of 20+ kts. But all the competitors showed up well!

This was a particularly special win because - as you may have seen - I had just gotten this beautiful pink Laser 200 four days before the competition. I had only flown in it a few times and I'm surprised I was able to put up such good numbers in an aircraft I barely knew. But she is a beauty and flies incredibly so I'm excited to take her to the next level!

This process doesn't happen alone. I'm so grateful for the incredible mentorship, support and guidance from greats in the sport like .lelievre .bock the whole Team Lancaster crew and more. They've helped this straight & level girl get her stick & rudder chops refined.

Oh and the only three girls out of ~40 competitors all podiumed 🥇🥇🥉✨

Can't wait for the next contest!! ✈️

Why not another pink one? 🤷🏼‍♀️🩷

Say hello to the beautiful new Laser! This is a legendary aerobatic aircraft that champion aerobatic pilot Leo Loudenslager famously developed. It has a storied history of huge successful in aerobatic competitions. One of the most impressively in competition history.

I'm so thrilled and honored to get to fly this beauty. Can't wait to dance the sky with her...tons ✈️

Klinky klink!🥇🥇🥇

Girl took home 3 golds and a first place overall in the Hammerhead Roundup aerobatic competition!

Grateful for such a solid showing in Borrego Springs, CA - taking the top spot in each of the three Primary category flights and first overall. And flying it in my humble Van's RV-4 ✈️

This would not have been possible without the incredible mentorship, training and support from some of the best aerobatic pilots in the industry: The Lancaster Team .lancaster. I suppose it's true that if surround yourself with people that are smarter and more talented than you, you will learn a lot and level up.

The Lancaster crew of top aerobatic pilots is like a family. Thank you to every single one of them and our incredible coach Chris Rudd for working with us a month after month to make us better - even if there's a few sharp words and teasing. Feels like having brothers again 😅

The hours of training, hard work and dedication paid off. Now onto the next competition!! And I have some exciting news coming: A new addition to our airplane family that I'll soon share. Stay tuned 🥰✈️🩷
