Announcement Regarding Visas

Attention Indonesian citizens and citizens of other countries in Indonesia who will apply for a Turkish visa,

In accordance with the decision taken by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, the intermediary visa company VFS Global has been authorized to handle Turkey visa applications across Indonesia as of February 2026.

As of February 2026, visa appointments, which have been made via konsolosluk.gov.tr until now, will be made through the website of the VFS Global company. The delivery of visa documents, collection of visa fees and other additional charges, and fingerprint collection from visa applicants are carried out at VFS Global's office located at Kuningan City Mall, L2–19 Jl. Prof. Dr. The center will be located at Satrio Kav 18, Setiabudi, Kuningan, Jakarta, and will begin operations on February 9, 2026. Passports will be collected from the same center after visa applications have been processed at our Embassy.

Important note:

Applicants who have already applied for a visa through consulate.gov.tr and have scheduled appointments for February 2026 and beyond but have not yet submitted their visa documents to our Embassy will submit their visa documents to the VFS Global office, whose address is listed above, on their appointment dates. They will also pay the visa fee and provide their fingerprints at the same location. Those whose appointments are scheduled before February 9, 2026, will also be able to submit their applications to our Embassy by the aforementioned date. (The visa company will provide a mobile biometrics service for applicants who cannot come to the center in person, for a fee. Applicants who will use the mobile biometrics service must deliver their application documents to VFS Global representatives personally.)
Individuals who have submitted their visa documents to our Embassy, paid the fee, and are awaiting the conclusion of their visa application do not need to visit the VFS Global visa application center; instead, they will receive their passports from our Embassy.
In accordance with the Foreigners and International Protection Law No. 6458, the 3-6-12-month travel health insurance, which is mandatory, will also be obtained from VFS Global's Visa Application Center. Travel health insurance policies purchased from other companies will not be accepted. The lowest visa fee will be 180 US Dollars, which includes the company's services and mandatory health insurance premiums.
Our embassy and VFS Global's Jakarta office are continuing the necessary preparations and infrastructure work and making every effort to ensure a smooth transition phase. We kindly request your understanding regarding any potential disruptions that may occur.
