Gillian Simon- Managing Director/Consultant at GRS Management Solutions

A dedicated professional with over twenty-three (23) years’ experience in Human Resource Management, Ms. Over the

last twelve (12) years, her skill set expanded to include Business Administration and Quality Management. She served as a member of the committee responsible for the implementation of Trinidad and Tobago Pilots’ Association’s Quality Management System and performed the role of Designated Person. Appointed to serve as a member of the Board of Directors of the Trinidad and Tobago Solid Waste Management Limited in 2009, Ms. Simon functioned in this position until the end of her tenure in 2010. During this time, she also served as Chairperson for the Board’s Human Resource Committee. She has served on six additional committees during her career and was appointed Chairperson of three of those committees. Simon is the holder of a Master in Business Administration from the Heriot-Watt University and a Bachelor of Science in Sociology with Government from the University of the West Indies, St Augustine. She was awarded a Bachelor of Laws from the University of London in August 2019 and a Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Legal Practice from The University of Law, UK in 2023. She is a registered teacher with the Ministry of Education, as well as a trained Lead Auditor (Quality). She has also undergone Mediation Skills Training. Simon grew up in Grande Riviere, Toco, in a home where she was exposed to community service at a tender age. Thus, to this day, she remains passionate about community service and continues to make contributions to her community. She is a lifetime member of the Trinidad and Tobago Cancer Society.
