The Caribbean is actively building a pipeline of more digitally competent SMEs.

The upcoming digital divide in Caribbean business will not be between companies that use technology and those that don’t. Instead, it will be between companies that integrate technology into their operations and those that merely download apps.

As AI adoption grows, the key question female Caribbean entrepreneurs need to ask is whether technology enhances cost efficiency, speed, customer experience, decision-making, or revenue.

I don’t believe life was meant to be perfectly balanced.

Some seasons will demand more from you as a mother. Others will require more from your business.
Some will call you inward to rest, heal, rethink, or simply enjoy the life you’ve worked so hard to build.

Trying to give everything equal time, energy, and attention can turn “balance” into another performance measure.

And for ambitious women, that can generate its own anxiety:

Am I working too much?
Am I truly present?
Am I neglecting myself?
Should I be doing more?

I favour harmony.

Harmony allows different parts of your life to take the lead when the season calls for it—without letting one aspect permanently overshadow others.

That is a very different way to live.

Customers expect SMEs to perform and deliver just like large businesses… let that sink in!

Your business won’t survive if you don’t level up! Most customers aren't concerned about the lack of budget, funding or infrastructure to compete with bigger companies.

Get serious about your business automation processes and SOPs if you want to survive.
