Looking at these features, interviews, and conversations reminds me that thought leadership is not built in a single moment.

It is built through years of showing up, sharing experiences, asking better questions, learning continuously, and being willing to pour into others.

Today's digital landscape gives us unprecedented access to information, but wisdom still comes from experience, community, and meaningful dialogue.

Why am I so guarded and selective about who gets close?

Let's chat. ☕

In a season of my young life, when I was genuinely looking up, the way young women naturally do, searching for guidance, mentorship, or someone who had walked the road ahead to light it a little.

I did find women who were positive, protective, kind, and nurturing. But what I also experienced were older women who bullied with sophistication.

I often talk about the “Trojan horse” and the “Hyena personality” because they are very, very real… ⚠️

Experiences that drastically shifted my mindset. I believed that if you were kind to people, they would be kind back.

Some of the worst life experiences I've had came from women I thought were Christian, educated, and eloquent. Women I initially admired and looked up to until I discovered the devil that dwells within them.

They used eloquent speech, carefully crafted smiles, fake expressions of care, and business suits as camouflage.
They were old enough to know better and chose to cause destruction anyway.

The damage they leave isn't temporary. It changes how you see the world. It creates a particular kind of wariness that lingers in your chest long after the situation has passed.

It alters how you extend trust, read the room, and respond to kindness—because kindness was the vehicle they used to get close enough to hurt and traumatise.

The trauma is real. The rewiring is real. The hyper-vigilance is real. And sometimes it takes years, even a lifetime, to fully understand what happened and why.

The worst part was that they found their cruelty, craftiness, low vibration, evil, and nasty character funny and empowering.

That's when the saying 'hurt people hurt people' made sense. But I'd say broken women break women.

I looked at them with sympathy and sadness. These experiences led me to promise never to become that woman because young girls and women see and are affected by it.

Let us strive to be better than those who betrayed or hurt us. Elevate 🌹

Success is rarely a solo journey.

Behind every milestone achieved, there is often someone who challenged us to think bigger, see clearer and keep moving forward when the path became difficult.

The most expensive mistake I see Caribbean entrepreneurs make.

They invest in visibility before they have a revenue strategy.
So they get seen and then nothing happens.
Crickets. Frustration. Wasted time and money.

Many entrepreneurs come to me frustrated…

Brilliant women, been in business for years.

Instagram? Stunning. Engagement? Through the roof. People sharing their content, saving it, sliding into thier DMs telling them they were changing their life.

And every month they were looking at thier bank accounts wondering why none or so little of it was converting into sales.

Visible everywhere but broke.

Because they had no offer that was clearly positioned. No pathway from content to conversion. No system moving people from
“I love her” to “I need to hire her.”
She was performing. She was not selling.
Nothing is anxiety inducing like that for busienssoeners!
