Everyday businesses from around the world pop up on my feed and I always wonder if it would work in Trinidad.

Have you heard about Nuuly?

It's a monthly subscription service where people pay $100 a month to rent a ton of clothes and they can either return it at the end of the month or buy some of the pieces.

It is a novel idea and I see so many people actually use this....hence why they always have 'new' clothes when they show up online.

Do you think this idea can work in trinidad?

Do we already have a business like this that I am not aware of?

Social media is a full time job!

Sometimes you can get so caught in your social media that you neglect other parts of your business.

What are your thoughts?

A potential client found me through my Google Business Page.

I have not updated it in a hot minute but I am glad the information they found still convinced them to reach out for my services.

Added to my task list for next week- update page.

Do you have a Google Business page?

Outside of social media and word of mouth, how are potential clients finding you?

What keywords are they searching for that would make your name pop up?

Nothing humbles you more when you have a challenge in your business.

I have had no internet for hours (thanks Amplia), my data is shoddy and I have to reschedule some meetings and video calls. Yes I needed wifi for these specific tasks.

Using my phone all day has been doing a number on my eyes, my fingers and my wrists...wow!

But I am still grateful to have the best clients and opportunities landing in my lap everyday.

How has June been treating you so far?
What are you grateful for?

10 things entrepreneurs can do when the rest of the country is on holiday
1. Declutter your space. As in clean up your desk, your emails and social media newsfeed

2. Write some masterful content showing the value you bring to your audience

3. Journal to clear your head and map out what June will look like for you

4. Review your monthly and quarterly budget and tweak as needed. Update your accounting

5. Schedule emails to your list for the next week or 2. Automate as much as possible so the next 2 weeks are a breeze until the next holiday

6. Send out invoices if this is something you have fallen behind on.

7. Touch base and follow up with clients who you normally interact with on messenger or whatsapp. Just asking how things are and if there is anything they need

8. Catch up with your reading or listening to a podcast series that really motivates you and teaches you something new

9. Get some self care in. Socialise with friends or family you have not seen in a while because you have been soooo busy growing your empire

10. Run an ad that specifically targets your audience since they are mostly relaxing with their phones over the next day. Let them see and hear from you today.

It's May 31st

I am assuming you have

Written down your financial goal for June

Decided how much you need to sell weekly to meet that goal

Decided how much you need to sell daily to meet that goal

Made a list of people to follow up with

Made a content plan of how you are going to show up and sell online

Decided how many emails you would be sending every week asking for the sale

Decided on how many videos you would be recording and sharing

Decided on what small, mid and high ticket offers you are pushing this month and how one leads to the other

Decided how you are asking for the sale outside of social media

Decided who are collaborating with and already have put things in place

I am assuming that your June is already set up to exceed your own expectations.

Are you ready?

I am always amazed about what I learn when I coach a new group of entrepreneurs.

Are you giving your clients receipts on completion of your job with them?

Nail techs and hair dressers, do you have receipts built into your customer experience?

How else are you tracking your expenses and who is coming regularly, or needs a follow up etc.

What systems do you have in place?

For me no matter how big or small the service I give a receipt.

Even in my car wash, we give each customer a receipt.

What system are you using for your business?

Anybody up and working on a Friday night?

19/05/2026

What hours are you most productive?

For me it is anywhere between 9am to 2pm.

Before 9am my brain does not fully wake up

After 2pm, my brain wants to shut down

Those are my magic hours and because I know that I scheduled the crap out of those. I make calls, send emails, do my 1 on 1 clients and other client meetings, I brainstorm, I sell, I record videos, I do the most!

I may get a burst of energy at 6.30pm but that is very short lived.

What are your magic hours?
