Since its launch in 2012, TTBizLink has received multiple local and international awards and certifications for its innovative approach to improving public services. These include:
𝟐𝟎𝟏𝟑: United Nations Public Service Awards (UNPSA) category winner for Promoting Whole-of-Government Approaches in the Information Age.

𝟐𝟎𝟏𝟒: One of three finalists in Commonwealth Association for Public Administration and Management (CAPAM) 2014 International Innovation Awards in the category of Innovation in Government Services and Programmes.

𝟐𝟎𝟏𝟓: Diamond Standard Certification from the Ministry of Public Administration (MPA) for excellence in service delivery in the public sector.

𝟐𝟎𝟏𝟔: Category winner for Improvement of Public Services in The Awards of Excellence in Electronic Government (excelGOV) organized by the Network of e-Government Leaders of Latin America and the Caribbean, with the support of the Organization of American States and the Inter-American Development Bank.

Here is a recap of the Launch of TTBizLink's 5 new e-services. On Tuesday April 08, 2025, the Ministry of Trade and Industry launched five (5) new services as part of its TTBizLink services for two (2) key agencies, the Ministry of Trade and Industry’s Trade Licence Unit and Tourism Trinidad Limited, bringing the total number of services offered to fifty-three (53), spanning twenty-five (25) government agencies across (9) Ministries.
The new additions to the platform include:
- Notice of Intention to load scrap metal for export
- Permit for the shipment and/or alteration of scrap metal
- Permit for the shipment of broken machinery
- Interim approval for a Tourism Project – this service allows entities to receive incentives for the construction of practical tourism projects that would assist the development of the tourism industry.
- Duty Free Permit for a Tourism Project – this service allows entities who have been granted interim approval to submit a list of items to the imported free of customs duty for the respective project. Tourism Trinidad Limited will administer this service.

TTBizLink, the first Single Electronic Window (SEW) in the Caribbean, is a secure business portal that provides 24/7 access to applications for various trade and business related government services by linking multiple partners via a single electronic platform www.ttbizlink.gov.tt. Applications submitted online are automatically routed to the relevant approving agency for electronic processing. The agency then communicates with the applicant electronically on the status of the application indicating whether it has been approved, rejected or queried.

TTBizLink represents collaboration and interconnectivity with Government Agencies on board from eight (8) Ministries, together with the Trinidad and Tobago Chamber of Industry and Commerce (TTCIC). Registration for TTBizLink is spearheaded by ttconnect which falls under the Ministry of Public Administration. This represents yet another example of partnering between Government Ministries under the TTBizLink project.
