Job Title: Accounting Technician

Job Responsibilities:
• Record daily sales, purchases, and expenses accurately in QuickBooks.
• Prepare and maintain financial records, ledgers, and supporting documents.
• Reconcile bank accounts, supplier statements, and petty cash balances.
• Verify supplier invoices and ensure timely payments.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable to maintain accurate cash flow records.
• Support inventory valuation and cost control reporting in collaboration with the inventory team.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.
• Assist with payroll data entry and related reconciliations.
• Manage filing and documentation for audits and internal reviews.
• Work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced restaurant environment, meeting deadlines and handling multiple priorities.

Inventory Clerk / Accounting Technician

Job Responsibilities:

Inventory Management
• Maintain accurate daily records of food, beverage, and supply inventories across all departments.
• Conduct routine stock counts and reconcile physical inventory with system records.
• Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages and overstocking.
• Ensure timely and proper documentation for transfers between outlets (e.g., Meena House, Elysium, The Culinary House).
• Verify all incoming goods against purchase orders and supplier invoices for accuracy and quality.
• Update and manage inventory data in QuickBooks and related management systems.
• Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to track usage, wastage, and cost variances.

Accounting Support
• Record supplier invoices, payments, and expense transactions accurately in QuickBooks.
• Assist in preparing daily sales summaries, cash reconciliations, and deposit reports.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records for audits and management review.
• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Assist in payroll and petty cash documentation as required.

Operational Efficiency
• Thrive in a fast-paced restaurant environment, handling multiple priorities with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Collaborate with chefs, purchasing, and management to ensure smooth inventory flow and cost control.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
• Identify and report discrepancies, losses, or process inefficiencies promptly.

Additional Requirements
• Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong numerical and organizational skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays if required.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Key Responsibilities
• Assist in creating and scheduling social media posts (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.)
• Support in drafting newsletters, email marketing, and press materials
• Assist in monitoring TripAdvisor and Google reviews, drafting responses, and maintaining online reputation
• Help coordinate in-house events, tastings, and promotional activities
• Maintain digital displays and update marketing collateral across all brands
• Assist in preparing weekly and monthly reports on marketing activities and results
• Research industry trends, competitor activities, and creative opportunities for brand visibility
• Support the Marketing Executive in administrative and creative tasks as required

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
• 1–2 years of marketing or social media experience (internship experience considered)
• Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills
• Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or other design tools is a plus
• Photography/videography skills for content creation are an asset
• A passion for hospitality, food, and lifestyle brands
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
