This opportunity is ideally suited to someone who is at the beginning of their accounting career and would like to gain practical, hands-on experience while pursuing an accounting qualification.

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum of 5 CXC/CSEC passes, including Mathematics and English.
Currently pursuing or planning to pursue ACCA, FIA, CAT, AAT, a BSc in Accounting, or another recognized accounting qualification.
Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
Comfortable working with Microsoft Excel and other computer applications.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Willingness to learn and take guidance.
Reliable, professional and able to maintain confidentiality.
Previous accounting experience would be an asset but is not required.
Duties Will Include
Assisting with bookkeeping and data entry.
Recording and reviewing accounting transactions.
Assisting with bank reconciliations.
Supporting payroll preparation and statutory calculations.
Assisting with VAT and other tax schedules.
Organizing client accounting records and supporting documents.
Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
General accounting and administrative support.
