📍 SITE SPOTLIGHT | Green Composting Site – Kizimbani ♻️

Welcome to one of the operational sites within the GREEN COMPOSTING Sites Network.

Established through our partnership with the Municipal Council of Magharibi “A”, - Tanzania. The Kizimbani site demonstrates how waste can be transformed into valuable resources that benefit communities, agriculture, and the environment.

At this site we provide:

Every kilogram of organic waste diverted from landfill represents a step toward cleaner communities, healthier soils, and a stronger circular economy.

The Kizimbani model is one example of how partnerships between Green Composting and local authorities can create practical waste management solutions.

As we continue expanding our Green Composting Sites Network, we welcome municipalities interested in establishing similar circular economy solutions in their communities.

Meet Halima Nassor, our Community Outreach Coordinator at Green Composting.

Halima works closely with communities, hotels, institutions, farmers, and local stakeholders to promote sustainable organic waste management and environmental stewardship across Zanzibar.

Her responsibilities include:
