I really feel bothered when I see engineers with no job. I have seen engineers work as sweepers and peons and to see such thing happen in our country is what I feel very bad about. And then we blame students for travelling abroad for their higher studies. Why would they stay here, if they do not get job and are not valued. I do understand, that getting a job depends on an individual but why are there so many engineers in the first place if there are very less job opportunities.
Coming back to the education system, students are taught by those who themselves do not have complete knowledge ( not every one, but many). Teaching profession is such a profession that the candidate will first look for other opportunities and when they are unable to get any job, they take up teaching as a profession. Such teachers or faculties do not teach with same enthusiasm as ones who are really interested in teaching.
One last thing is that students right from their childhood are told that life in college is very enjoyable and carefree. This attitude has ruined millions of life in our country. When students enter college, they feel their HAPPY DAYS have begun, but that is the time, when they need to take things seriously and think about their future. What most students do is enjoy for 4 years and then regret their entire life for not doing what they should have done in those 4 years.
So it is not just one thing at a fault but there are many things that needs to be changed. This can go on and on and on, but I will limit this answer here and once again, I do not mean to blame any one or the system, this is just my opinion.
