Over the weekend, on Saturday, August 1st, 2026, KADCOS Lubaga Cooperative Society successfully hosted an insightful Poultry and Piggery Training session for our members!

The session kicked off with an introduction to the fundamentals of poultry and piggery management, highlighting the critical startup requirements for a successful agri-business:
1. Market Research: Conducting thorough research on market demand for poultry.
2. Location Selection: Choosing suitable, strategic farm locations.
3. Financial Planning: Proper budgeting and resource allocation.
We were also privileged to hear from Mr. Mutebi, an expert in piggery farming, who shared essential "dos and don'ts." A key takeaway from his presentation was that passion comes first—“You must love that animal before venturing into the business!”
