My name is Grace Julius Ssembatya. I am a Ugandan human rights photographer, activist, and filmmaker Who uses videos and photos to tell everyday stories.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree of Arts in Ethics and Human rights from Makerere University.

I enjoy storytelling and I believe cinematography is the best tool to make sense of social events and issues around us that words alone may not be able to illustrate in our minds.

Photography and Film-making to me is a voice that has given me a cause in my community to inspire communities, engage and challenge leaders to take action at all levels. It’s a unique form of art that freezes and captures the different special aspects of our life emotions every day.
