KCCA WINS THE FUFA SUPER LEAGUE TITLE.
It was marked the 10th time KCCA Fc is winning this trophy in the League. This followed KCCA beating its long time rivals the Jogoos 3-1 in a final match played yesterday at Kcca grounds Lugogo.
Steven Bengo and Ronnie Kisekka scored a goal each and Wadri made it 3-0 in the 90th minute of the game. Villa’s consolation came off a Hakim Senkumba own goal in injury time.

CANA CHAMPIONSHIPS RECEIVE SHS.7M OFFER.
MIDLAND Group of Companies has offered Uganda Swimming Federation sh7m towards organization of the Africa Zone Three and Four Swimming Confederation Championships. USF will use the money in preparations for the international meet that has drawn entries from Angola, Burundi, Kenya, Malawi, Mauritius, Seychelles, South Africa, Rwanda, Uganda, Tanzania, Namibia and Zambia. The competition will be at Kampala Parents School.
The CANA Zone 3 and 4 comprises of 24 countries, twelve of which had confirmed taking part in the annual championship by Saturday.

$300,000 GOAL PROJECT TO BE CONSTRUCTED-FIFA
FUFA has handed over Njeru technical training centre to Infra-Tech Consult Ltd and Kabbs Technical Services after the football governing body received a sh 720m ($300,000) plan to complete part of its infrastructure.
FUFA president Moses Magogo said that the fully finished Goal Project 4 will help FUFA smoothen the development of football in the country.

"Football cannot be developed without infrastructure in place. So FIFA Goal Project 4 is a gift from FIFA to Ugandans because of the past projects by FUFA headed by past presidents the late Dennis Obua and Lawrence Mulindwa.

We now look forward to modernizing the facility so that we can have more FIFA programs easily and saving the expenses we would have incurred at hotels. This training facility will benefit all Ugandans” said Magogo.

KOLOLO S.S. THE VICTORS OF 2014 U19 SCHOOLS' RUGBY CHAMPS.
Kololo S.S were crowned 2014 U19 schools rugby Super 8 champions at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds on Saturday, following their impressive display in the finals. Kololo S.S who were participating as new comers edged two time and defending champions Hana Mixed, in a very crucial encounter that ended; Hana 10:11 Kololo. Kololo S.S, who were awarded the trophy rewrote history, becoming the second one time secondary school winner after St.Mary College Kisubi in 2009.
