How long you take to connect your gear matters a lot. To get us on the best side, we always carry our gear with all equipment that requires power cabled into this 8 channel power switcher. And on arrival at site, we just plug the switcher's cable into the power source. Not the best switcher though but works for us. Also from amazon.com.
