PRACTICAL EXPOSURE TO MY CAREER
Hello, I am Betty an intern at Finadove Business Consult.
Upon completion of my class work in Accounting and Finance early this year, we were challenged to get a work place for internship. When I saw this company name on Facebook, I got interested in knowing what they do and if they offer place for internship, which was a yes.
I am so glad I joined the Finadove family. On my first day, I was so happily welcomed and I never felt like a stranger. I started learning the background (Vision, Mission, Core Values...) and the different services offered by this company through orientation. Through out my stay, I have so far developed skills in handling customer relations, communication skills, networking, marketing among others. Most importantly, in accounting section where have been proactive, I have learnt practical skills in managing office petty cash,EFRIS system management, TAX FILING like VAT, IT, WHT among thers.
I have also gained hands on skills in using QuickBooks software which has proved to be amazing in generating ultimate financial reports.
I share all these experiences because it has relieved me off the worries of where I would start off without experience from class. I feel confident in handling accounting related task now. I have liked the openness of the consultants here to learners and clients. They have really helped so many businesses cope up with changes in taxes and preparation of their books of accounts for accurate assessment of tax liabilities.
I now urge anyone out there looking for internship opportunity to never think twice about joining this company.
