OF WARNINGS

Jonah 1:1-2

Now the word of the LORD came unto Jonah the son of Amittai, saying, Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry against it; for their wickedness is come up before me.

Before something wrong happens in your life, God will warn you in various occasions and ways. If you are unable to hear His voice clearly, He will communicate to your instincts. If you fail to discern that, He will speak through any ordinary person to you. If you still don't catch it, He will warn you in His Word during your study of it. If you aren't still alert, He will send His mouth piece or oracle or prophet to forewarn you. For it's a spiritual law that warnings must precede calamities.

For this reason God has elected watchmen and prophets in every generation to warn His children against ways and actions that lead to disaster. God holds these people accountable for concealing messages of warning to people incase calamity befalls them unknowingly. That's why He says in Ezekiel 33:6 that, "But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take [any] person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand."

In the same way, if God decides to warn you directly and you ignore His message, the blame is on you. It's not a constant that God will always warn you though someone else or a prophet, there are lots of warning that He will personally give you.

TODAY'S TASK

Pay attention to warnings.

PRAYER

Kind and loving Father! Thank You for leading me in Your way and for giving me Your Holy Spirit to guide me. I'm attuned to Your voice and divine instructions. For this cause, I'm victorious in everything I do, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Day 07

YOUR LIFE IS IN GOD

Colossians 3:3

For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.

You cannot have two lives but one. You are either a child of the flesh possessing human life or a child of God possessing eternal life. A child of the flesh is one whose spirit isn't yet born again by the Holy Spirit and a child of God is one whose spirit is now born again by the Holy Spirit. Jesus said in John 3:6 that, "That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit."

Romans 9:8 also explains thus, "That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these [are] not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed." The seed here is Christ. Galatians 3:29 then adds, "And if ye [be] Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise."

Now that you're born again and your life is with Christ in God, the devil and all his fiery darts can't access you because they have to pass through God to find you. Most amazingly, even as you live in God Galatians 3:27 says, "For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ."

Whatsoever seems to be happening around you that isn't consistent with God's blessings in your life is just a shadow. Speak forth who you are as a child of God and the light of the Word will expel any shadow of the devil.

Speak to that bad situation and tell it you overcame it two thousand years ago by the blood of the lamb and by your testimony that Christ is your life.



I bless the Lord with everything I have and everything I am. I am complete in Christ and a partaker of the Inheritance of God as a saint in light. I live above fear, sickness, poverty, abnormalities and all demonic attack. I am blessed beyond measure in Jesus' name. Amen.

DAY 12

GOD REWARDS

Hebrews 6:10 (Amp)

For God is not unrighteous to forget or overlook your labor and the love which you have shown for His name's sake in ministering to the needs of the saints (His own consecrated people), as you still do.

A Christian is the custodian of God's reputation. He has been hired by God to work in a timely realm so that eternity can become a reality to many.

1 Corinthians 3:9 (Amp) says, "For we are fellow workmen (joint promoters, laborers together) with and for God", In other words, you are alive to work with God and for God.

God wants to use you to reconcile the whole world to Himself and that's the essence of your existence on earth as Christians. This explains why Matthew 9:36 (YLT 1898) talking about Jesus says, "And having seen the multitudes, he was moved with compassion for them, that they were faint and cast aside, as sheep not having a shepherd, then saith he to his disciples, `The harvest indeed is abundant, but the workmen few".

You can't serve the Lord effectively without love in your heart. It all starts with having compassion on people regardless of how they look or what you know about them.

Love will compel you to serve Him cheerfully for the expansion of the Kingdom.

Win someone to Christ.

PRAYER

Thank you Lord for the assurance I have received in your word today. I will get involved in the advancement of the Gospel across the whole world till my time is up on earth. I'm full of love and compassion because the same Spirit that is at work in Jesus Christ is at work in me richly. I pray for all those involved in the work of the ministry of reconciliation globally that they will be successful by the power of the holy spirit in the name of Jesus. Amen.

DAY 04

PROMOTION

Psalms 75:6

For promotion [cometh] neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.

Look not unto man for your promotion even if it's him who grants it to you because if the promotion is not God inspired, it will still end up in a dead end. Your boss and anyone else is always inspired by the spirit of God knowingly or unknowingly to do good things to you because "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning" (James 1:17). The devil can't convict anyone on earth to grant you something good unless it's a rotten apple with a beautiful coating, that's why you must always trust God for your promotion.

When you get promoted don't act proud because it's God's grace that made it happen and just in case you get demoted don't raise your feast or hate anyone. Psalms 75:4-7 (NLT) exclaims, "I warned the proud, 'Stop your boasting!' I told the wicked, 'Don't raise your fists! Don't raise your fists in defiance at the heavens or speak with such arrogance.'" For no one on earth—from east or west, or even from the wilderness— should raise a defiant fist. It is God alone who judges; he decides who will rise and who will fall." Every situation will always be to your advantage, if you love God and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).

YOUR TASK TODAY

By faith, thank God for your promotion and give Him a thanksgiving offering.

PRAYER

Oh Lord God, not that I am sufficient of myself to think any thing as of myself; but my sufficiency is of you; For it is God which worketh in me both to will and to do of his good pleasure. Thanks for promoting me in Jesus' name. Amen.

DAY 05

NO ONE CAN BE AGAINST YOU

Romans 8:31

What shall we then say to these things? If God [be] for us, who [can be] against us?

Right from the day you became a child of God, your judgement and justification shifted from anyone or anything to God himself. Understand this child of God, no one and no spirit apart from God and His Holy Spirit has the authority to do anything to you. Fear not; for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in you (John 14:30).

We are not ordinary. Romans 8:29 says we were foreknown and predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Jesus being our first born implies that as He is and so are we in this world (1 John 4:17).

Whenever Jesus encountered demon possessed folks, demons recognised Him and at His command they were cast away. This is us, the enemy whether physical or spiritual is under our feet. Who can be against us? The most dreadful thing to do is to be against a child of God who understands the power and authority they possess.

YOUR TASK TODAY

Fear not, God has gone ahead of your situation and stand by faith because the victory is yours.

PRAYER

I thank my God because all things are working together for my good today. I'm more than a conqueror knowing that no weapon formed against me has ever prospered. I win today in Jesus' name. Amen.

DAY 28

DON'T LIE TO THE HOLY GHOST

Acts 5:3

But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back [part] of the price of the land?

Satan can fill your heart but not your spirit because the Holy Spirit has joined your spirit and now you are one. 1 Corinthians 6:17 confirms thus, "But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit."

The heart here refers to your mind.

Just like Ananias, many Christians get filled with Satan in their minds or hearts in that they start perceiving ideas that are contrary to the Lord's instructions. How dangerous this can turn out to be! The Holy Spirit in Ananias convicted him to give that which he had promised God but Satan spoke to his mind to keep back part of the price.

The choice he made determined what course his life was to take. Ecclesiastes 5:4 (NLT) states, "When you make a promise to God, don't delay in following through, for God takes no pleasure in fools. Keep all the promises you make to him."

It's therefore recorded in Acts 5:5 (NLT) that, "As soon as Ananias heard these words, he fell to the floor and died. Everyone who heard about it was terrified." So many have lost alot simply because they didn't follow the Lord's instructions or they made a fool of the Holy Ghost by promising and not fulfilling.

Fulfil your promise.

PRAYER

I thank God for giving me a life of abundance and for lifting me from one level of glory to another. I vow to God to pay my vows knowing that He takes no pleasure in fools. The wisdom of God is at work in me in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Day 30

IMITATE WHAT IS GOOD

3 John 1:11 (NKJV)

Beloved, do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. He who does good is of God, but he who does evil has not seen God.

It's written in Hebrews 13:7-8 (NKJV), "[ Remember those who rule over you, who have spoken the word of God to you, whose faith follow, considering the outcome of] [their] conduct. Jesus Christ [is] the same yesterday, today, and forever".

Who inspires you?

It's funny to find out that some carnal musicians and evil doers have become a pattern to some subsequent Gospel ministers in this age. This is not right especially when such people have a reputation of bad conduct. Life is spiritual and words are spirit and life, the more you watch and listen to the wrong people, the more your soul is affected by them, before you know it, you have become an empty minister.

When it comes to the house of God, not everyone should become your example because the Church is not perfect but under perfection. Don't look at their titles, rather by the spirit look at their faith results. If you are told to do anything inconsistent with the Word of God, don't do it because "There is a way [that seems] right to a man, But its end [is] the way of death" (Proverbs 16:25 NKJV).

Most people were caused to error because they followed the wrong instruction coming from the leader. No wonder God struck Israel in 1 chronicles 21 because Joab and the leaders followed a satanic instruction from their leader; king David. This led to the death of many people.

Scan everything you are told using the word of God.

YOUR TASK TODAY

Get back to the word of God and find out if everything you have been instructed to do is in line with the Word of God.

PRAYER

I'm a joint heir with Christ because I have received the same Spirit that functions in Him. I'm increasing in the knowledge of the will of God in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. I am full of courage and knit together with Christ in love. I have attained the riches of the full assurance of the knowledge of the mystery of God, both of the Father and the Christ by faith, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

ENDURE

James 1:12

Blessed [is] the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.

David sang, "Let those who fear the LORD now say, "His mercy [endures] forever" (Psalms 118:4 NKJV). One of God's divine attributes is endurance, and as a partaker of His divine nature; you must cultivate the spirit of endurance.

God is love and love endures.

To endure is to continue or carry on regardless of the hindrance, obstacles or hardships. The spirit of endurance causes one to last, and that's why our God is everlasting. This attribute attracts trust, confidence and reliability because an enduring person is often faithful and dependable.

If you want to perfect your love and experience good success in life, endure all things.

Jesus in explaining the parable of the sower, said in Mark 4:16-17 (NKJV), "These likewise are the ones sown on stony ground who, when they hear the word, immediately receive it with gladness; and they have no root in themselves, and so endure only for a time. Afterward, when tribulation or persecution arises for the word's sake, immediately they stumble".

We must expect trials and persecutions along the way as we journey in life. Life is physically not a smooth path but you must acknowledge that regardless of what your eyes see, by faith walls are broken, mountains have moved, seas have parted and enemies are defeated.

YOUR TASK TODAY

Tolerate people with the faith that God is able to perfect them.

PRAYER

I thank God for giving me the ability to endure all things. I'm temperate in all circumstances and set my gaze on the joy that is set before me. LORD, you are my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? You are the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid? With you all things are possible and I know, I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me, in the name of Jesus. Amen
