PACIFIC BEACH β€” COMMUNITY ADVISORY BOARD FORMING

Harbor community Ombudsman recently heard from a community member that efforts are underway to organize a Pacific Beach Community Advisory Board.

The goal is to bring together local residents, property owners, and community members to create a consistent voice and hold regular meetings around local issues and priorities.

If you’re interested in being part of the founding group or learning more:

This is an opportunity to help shape the future of Pacific Beach and be involved from the ground up.

Harbor Community Ombudsman is actively engaging with the United States Coast Guard to better understand how our waterways are protected β€” from safety enforcement to environmental response and maritime security.

This is about making sure Grays Harbor is not overlooked.

We’re working to connect our community directly with the systems that keep our waterways safe, while building a local stewardship model that supports β€” not duplicates β€” the work already being done at the federal, state, and local levels.

This is just the beginning.

πŸ’” This is happening in Grays Harbor. A family has experienced a tremendous loss. Kids, 10 to 15 years old, are navigating unimaginable grief. And the most heartbreaking part? They didn’t know where to turn. Who to call. What to do next. But they reached out. And we responded. We created a Child & Family Grief Support Packet to empower kids to face the unimaginable. Because this isn’t rare. It’s happening here. In our community. And we’re committed to standing with families every step of the way. If you know someone who needs help β€” reach out.
