Grateful doesn’t even begin to cover it.

Despite icy spots on the roads and in the parking lot, leaders showed up to Live2Lead Abilene ready to learn, connect, and play full out.

From an amazing breakfast brought in by Hourglass Leadership/ Kyle Bowen provided by Chick-fil-A Southwest Drive, Abilene to learning from John Maxwell on how to build a winning team—and the importance of A.C.T.: Apply, Change, Teach - the day unfolded with intention and energy.

The room came alive through meaningful conversations sparked by the Me & We Connect Cards, thoughtful letters written to future selves during Tiffani Bova’s reflection, and a powerful challenge from Craig Groeschel to stop whining, recognize our sharpness, and break through barriers.

After the amazing lunch provided by Crane's Craft BBQ at the Wagon Wheel we raised the energy dancing to Hey Baby with Jesse Cole, enjoyed Maw Maw’s Nanner Puddin passed out by Erika Crane and her team, and wrapped up the day with a strong, grounding panel discussion.

A special thank-you to our local leadership panel - Helen Usera, Ed.D., Timothy Smith, Phil Crowley and Dr. Travis Craver for bringing wisdom, honesty, and perspective that anchored the experience right here in our community.

And I am deeply grateful to Topher Fangio, Seth Pietsek, Arlene Aragón for their leadership, hard work, and personal investment in making this day a reality. Events like this don’t happen without people who care deeply and lead generously.
