I treated this stone Oct of 2022, today I returned to raise and level it, as well as do a second cleaning. I’m very pleased with its progress so far and cannot wait to see what a few more months will do after this second treatment.

I just love to see them ‘blush’. This is the second treatment for Mary’s headstone, the first being in October of 2022. I also raised her base and leveled it today. (Blushing is the natural process of the biological I use, it produces a blush color as it destroys the biogrowth on the surface and within the pores of the stone. This color will disappear over the next few days and as time passes, this stone will continue to lighten as the algae and biogrowth disappears)

😳
This is the grave of William Cosper in Childersburg Cemetery. Mr. Cosper was struck by lightning while standing on his front porch. He recovered but was struck again later and it was fatal. After his burial, amazingly, his tombstone was struck by lightning and replaced by his family. The tombstone was then struck again and still remains shattered to pieces to this day after the family did not have money to keep replacing it. The story was featured on Ripley's Believe It or Not some years ago. Quite odd, don't you think?

Doll house Grave of Nadine Earles-Lanette Alabma

Nadine Earles was not yet 4 years old when she died in 1933. It was December, and all she wanted for Christmas was a doll house, a wish her father was busy building for her.

She died on the 18th, one week before Christmas day. Her parents still made sure that her wish was granted, even if it was to be in the afterlife.

Locted at the Oakwood Cemetery in Lanett, Alabama, the doll house still stands among the gravestones,

The small brick doll house has all the makings of a real house, with a front porch, side walk, striped awnings, a mailbox, & flower boxes.

After the doll house was installed, Nadine's parents Julian and Alma filled it with a collection of dolls, toys, a baby buggy, high chair, and even a little bed.

For years after her death, Julian and Alma handled the upkeep and stocking of toys. Eventually they passed away too, buried in the same plot alongside Nadien & doll house, and the city took it over.

To this day it’s manicured, cleaned, and tended, and the array of dolls and toys keeps changing.
