Being successful is hard. You can pray and should pray for guidance and help from God. But, when you're done, you need to get up, put to work the tools He's given you, step outside of your comfort zone and walk through the refining fire of failure (learning opportunities).
You can have all the education, go to all the seminars, buy all the courses, and all the books... But, you still need to get up and DO the hard things.
This is a lesson I learned from zero hour highschool marching band practice that took place during the dark cold mornings when I was a teenager: The harder the goal, the greater the reward.
I was again, reminded of this lesson when I first started my own business. It isn't supposed to be easy.
It isn't always the well prepared, or highly educated who are the most successful. It is those who endure, who get back up when they fall, take notes, and learn how to do it better the next time.
So, don't be discouraged if your business plan didn't go as planned, if your message didn't have the impact you envisioned, or the launch was a failure. Learn from it, readjust, get back up, and do it better. Repeat as many times as necessary.
