Adult acne can be frustrating, painful, and often treated only from the surface. But for many people, the root causes go much deeper.

This client came to us struggling with chronic acne flares as an adult and was ready to take a root-cause approach. Through functional lab testing, we identified imbalances in the gut including bacterial overgrowth, yeast overgrowth, and markers of gut inflammation - all of which can contribute to inflammatory skin conditions through the gut–skin connection.

By supporting the body internally while also addressing the skin externally, we were able to take a whole-body approach to healing.

We collaborated with to support both internal and external skin health, helping this client move toward more sustainable, long-term skin improvements aligned with her goals.

Cradle cap isn’t always just a skin issue. Sometimes it’s a window into what’s happening in the gut.

This little one came in with cradle cap, digestive discomfort, stool changes, and poor sleep. Through functional testing, we discovered imbalances in the gut microbiome along with signs of inflammation affecting the digestive and immune systems.

By supporting gut health, calming inflammation, and gently expanding the diet to better nourish the body, things began to shift.
