🌦️ LOUISIANA WINTER OUTLOOK 2026–27

What are forecasters saying about the months ahead?

NOAA’s long-range outlook points to El Niño conditions, which can favor a wetter southern U.S. storm track, including the Gulf Coast.

The Farmers’ Almanac is also calling for an active southern storm track, with periods of rain and the possibility of occasional cold or icy weather reaching the Gulf South.

Of course, long-range outlooks aren’t guarantees — and if you know Louisiana weather, you know anything can happen. 😂
