Face Of Our Future: Rachel Petty

When challenges arise, Rachel Petty is one of the first people ready to help.

As a paralegal in RoyOMartin's Legal Department, Rachel works behind the scenes with nearly every area of the company, from contracts and insurance to employment matters and litigation. No two days look the same, but her focus stays the same: supporting others and helping find the best path forward.

What makes RoyOMartin stand out to her is the people. Their willingness to help one another, share knowledge, and work toward a common goal has shaped the way she approaches her own work every day.

"It's just completely different than other places. People here want to work, they want to help each other, and that motivates me."

For Rachel, building relationships across the company has been one of the most rewarding parts of her career. Those connections not only make her job easier, they remind her that everyone plays a role in RoyOMartin's success.

We’re proud to celebrate the RoyOMartin Plywood and Timber Mill team for being named a winner of the 2025 APA Safety & Health Awards, presented by APA – The Engineered Wood Association .

The team received the Three-Year Safety & Health Award in the Division I Plywood category for its safety performance from 2023 through 2025. Among 22 mills evaluated in the division, the Plywood team earned the award with an average weighted incident rate of 2.93 and a total incident rate of 0.69.

This marks the sixth consecutive year the mill has received this recognition.

The award is a reflection of something much bigger than a number. It represents a team that makes safety personal every day, looks out for one another, and stays committed to doing the job the right way.

Congratulations to our Chopin, La., team members on this well-earned achievement. We’re proud of the work you’re doing to make safety part of who we are.

We’re proud to celebrate the incredible women of RoyOMartin.

Yesterday, we hosted our 10th Annual RoyOMartin Believes in Women in Manufacturing event at LSU Alexandria, honoring five outstanding team members for their leadership, dedication, and impact across our company.

From production to administration and beyond, women are helping shape the future of manufacturing every day. Their stories show what’s possible when talented people have the opportunity to learn, lead, and grow.

The event also brought together students, teachers, community partners, and RoyOMartin leaders to highlight the many career opportunities available in manufacturing and encourage the next generation of women to see themselves in this industry.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in person and virtually, and congratulations to this year’s honorees. Your example matters, and the path you’re helping pave matters even more.

At RoyOMartin, we believe in women in manufacturing careers. We believe in their potential, their leadership, and the future they’re helping build.

In September and October, the WoodWorks program kicked off its 20th year by welcoming students from 23 Louisiana and East Texas high schools to WoodWorks orientation.

They were given an overview of the industry-based training program, as well as information on RoyOMartin’s history, products, and career opportunities.

We’re proud to invest in these young people and give them a closer look at the opportunities available in the wood products industry. Their curiosity and willingness to learn are exactly what we need to keep Building Tomorrow Together.

Here’s to the next generation of skilled craftsmen, problem-solvers, and leaders.
