A calendar full of meetings doesn't necessarily mean you had a productive day.
If you're scheduling referral partner meetings at 9:00, 11:00, 2:00 and 4:00, you've technically got four meetings...but you've also scheduled four hours of waiting around.
Traffic.
Dead time.
Checking your phone.
Trying to figure out what to do with that weird 90-minute gap.
There's a better way.
When I'm scheduling multiple meetings in a day, I don't just look for open times. I look for ways to stack the meetings together.
Instead of:
9:00, 11:00, 2:00, 4:00
I'd rather have:
9:00-12:00, stacked back to back
Same four meetings.
Completely different day.
Your calendar isn't just a place to put appointments.
It's a tool for protecting your time. Use it to your advantage.
