Million Dollar Loan Officer

Million Dollar Loan Officer I've had a lot of really smart people help me in life. I'd like to pay it forward to LO's who want to achieve greatness and want a Loan Officer Experience

A calendar full of meetings doesn't necessarily mean you had a productive day.

If you're scheduling referral partner meetings at 9:00, 11:00, 2:00 and 4:00, you've technically got four meetings...but you've also scheduled four hours of waiting around.

Traffic.
Dead time.
Checking your phone.
Trying to figure out what to do with that weird 90-minute gap.

There's a better way.

When I'm scheduling multiple meetings in a day, I don't just look for open times. I look for ways to stack the meetings together.

Instead of:
9:00, 11:00, 2:00, 4:00

I'd rather have:
9:00-12:00, stacked back to back

Same four meetings.

Completely different day.

Your calendar isn't just a place to put appointments.

It's a tool for protecting your time. Use it to your advantage.

Stop trusting your feelings and start trusting your scoreboard.

One of the biggest traps in sales is ending the day thinking, "Man, I was busy today. I got a lot done."

Sure....but did you actually do the things that create new money?

Because busy and productive aren't the same thing. You can take a piece of paper and move it back and forth on your desk all day and say you were busy.

That's why we use the New Money Activity Tracker to actually measure our green time.

Remember....

đź”´ Red Time = activity that has to get done, but doesn't directly create new business (and is usually easier to do, and the default when you want to avoid green time)

🟢 Green Time = the activities that actually create opportunities, conversations, appointments, applications, referrals and ultimately NEW MONEY (the harder stuff that involves rejection, phone calls, prospecting; the first thing LOs choose to cancel when something else pops up)

When we actually track our activity, we can look at the scoreboard and ask:

Did I do the minimum?

Did I do what I said I was going to do?

Did I spend enough time in GREEN?

At the end of the week, there should be no guessing. You either did the work...or you didn't.

Some people have issues with the tracker...it's discouraging... it's micromanagement....

You can look at it that way. Or, you can view it as liberating. Because once you know the truth, you can change the truth.

You can't improve what you're unwilling to measure.

Want a copy of the tracker?

👇 Comment "MONEY" and I'll send it over.

What should you bring to your first meeting with a new referral partner?

My answer might surprise you....

Nothing.

No business cards. No brochures. No flyers. No stack of marketing materials.

And definitely no preconceived notion that this person is automatically going to become a referral partner.

The goal of the first meeting isn't to convince them to work with you.

It's to figure out whether you are a good fit for each other. Do you even want to work with this person?? Do you like them? Do they seem like a good business partner?

That one shift changes the entire tone of the conversation.

Instead of walking in thinking: "How do I get this person to choose me?"

You're walking in thinking: "Let's see if we can help each other."

That's a much better place to start.

If you're doing annual mortgage reviews just looking for a refinance, you're missing the point.

The point is to serve your past clients.

Maybe you can save them money....
Maybe you can help them eliminate mortgage insurance....
Maybe you can improve their mortgage strategy....
Maybe nothing needs to change at all....

And if a refinance makes sense, that's a bonus.

But when your clients know you genuinely care about helping them...not just doing another loan...they're far more likely to trust you, remember you, and refer you.

The review isn't about finding a transaction. It's about finding a way to help.

Not asking for a referral is selfish.

Interesting point of view, right?

When I first started in this business, asking for referrals felt awkward. I didn’t want to bother people. I didn’t want to feel like I was asking for something.

Then someone said something that completely changed the way I looked at it: If you genuinely care about your clients and the people you serve, why wouldn’t you want the people they care about to be taken care of too? Why leave that to chance?

Asking for a referral isn’t about getting something from someone.

It’s about giving the people you serve an opportunity to put someone they care about in good hands.

If you believe you can genuinely help people, you shouldn’t be afraid to ask to help more people.

That’s not selfish. That’s leading with a servant’s heart.

Phone is going off for the rest of the day. Brain Dump followed by WTF Exercise. This is the same exercise i did when i was closing 4 loans a month as an LO and wanted to get to 100 million a year in volume.

It's the same exercise i did when I was doing 100 million a year and was working too much and wanted to scale but not work harder.

This is the same exercise that helped me live in my zone of genius doing only the things that i was good at, that made me money, and doing only the things that were enjoyable while growing to 198 million in our best year.

It's the exact same exercise that was used to help the Loan Officers on my team grow from 1 to 2 loans a month to 5 to 7 to 10 plus loans a month and helping them have the best earning years of their life!

Grab a copy of the WTF and Brain Dump exercise and also the perfect life letter that will help you craft the absolutely best life you can imagine.

Just comment "promise" and i will make sure you get access to it..... It's free.. it's my pleasure to share... But only if you promise me that you will use it.

LOs, are you letting past pre-quals slip away? People waiting for rates to drop or to buy in 6 months will likely be under contract in 3. Waiting too long means lost paychecks. An AI assistant can follow up, stay in touch, and set appointments, preventing you from losing business. Plus, re-engage old leads—even 'dead' ones can be re-engaged to find buyers.

What if you could have direct access to the way I think… 24 hours a day? Access to the exact systems and processes that I used to build a 100 million dollar a year team.

Not a course.
Not another Facebook group.
Not another motivational Zoom.
I built something completely different.
Over the last several months, I’ve taken years of my:

trainings
coaching calls
presentations
live events
scripts
frameworks
business strategies
mindset lessons
realtor attraction systems
AI workflows
lead conversion conversations
and real-world mortgage experience…

…and trained a custom Michael Mann GPT specifically for loan officers.

This is not generic AI.
This thing thinks like I think.
Answers like I answer.
Coaches like I coach.
Pushes you when you’re stuck.
Helps you solve problems in real time.
Helps you structure agent meetings.
Helps you with follow-up.

Marketing.
Mindset.
Scaling.
Systems.
Scripts.
Referrals.
Content.
Time management.
Leadership.
Burnout.
All of it.

Imagine having 24/7 access to:

“What would Michael do here?”

Now imagine getting the answer instantly.
This is the official launch event for the Michael Mann LLM.
And for the first time ever, I’m opening access to a private beta group.

But there’s a catch.
You cannot buy your way in.

You must be a Tribe member to even be considered for beta access.
Because this isn’t for dabblers.

This is for loan officers who are serious about growing, evolving, simplifying, and getting back in the game at a higher level.
The people inside this room early will have a massive unfair advantage.
Most loan officers are still using AI like a toy.
The people in this beta group will be using it like a business weapon.
If you’ve ever wished you had:
more clarity
more direction
better systems
stronger conversations
faster implementation
better follow-up
better realtor relationships
more consistency

or simply a way to stop feeling stuck…

You need to be at this event.
This is not the future.
This is happening right now.

And the loan officers who adapt first will get a head start

Welcome to the next evolution of Loan Officer Experience.

The Market Excuse
The market is hard right now.
Rates are high.
Volume is down.
Buyers are sitting on the sidelines.

That's real. I'm not dismissing it.

But here's what I need you to hear.
The loan officers who are growing right now — in this market, with these rates — aren't doing it because the market is working in their favor.

They're doing it because they stopped blaming the market two years ago.

They used the slow down to build.

While everyone else was waiting for rates to drop, they were building their brand.

Building their referral network outside of Realtors.
Building content that positioned them as the expert instead of a commodity.

Building systems that generate conversations without cold calls.

And now that the market is showing signs of movement — they're ready.

You're not behind because of the market.

You're behind because you've been waiting for the market to save you instead of building something that doesn't need saving.

The market will shift.
It always does.

The question is: when it does, will you be the one who's ready?

Or will you be the one who spent the whole slow season waiting?

The work is right now.
In the hard market.
In the slow season.

In the moments that feel like the worst possible time.

That's exactly when the foundation gets built.
