More new items in the shop and these are SO pretty. ✉️📚

World Literature Letter Sets take eight classic stories and turn them into stationery, with each one getting its own paper, colors, wax seal, quote, and overall mood.

And they really nailed the details.

Each set comes with:
✉️ 10 sheets of 140gsm Reservoir paper made for fountain pens
✉️ 5 matching envelopes

DC, you were SO good to us. 💜

I don’t think I can properly put into words how grateful we are for everyone who came by our table, bought something, stopped to chat, came back to see us again, or told someone else about Smruti Pens. This was our most successful pen show ever, and knowing that this little business is helping us do things like put our boys in piano lessons makes it feel even more special. 🥹🎹

Life clearly decided we were getting a little too comfortable after that high 😂, but we survived the basement chaos and now we are officially signing off for a bit.

Next stop: ARUBA! 🌴☀️

Ten years of marriage, seven years since our last kid-free vacation, and one whole week to just be Akhila & Nirmal again. ❤️

New arrivals! 🍸✨

These showed up today and I may have spent a little too much time opening and closing the caps. 😂 Meet the newest additions to the BENU Cocktail Hour Collection: Pink Lady and Mojito.

Pink Lady is a gorgeous shimmering pink with a faceted design that reminds me of a sparkling cocktail glass. Mojito is clear acrylic packed with silver, green, and gold shimmer. It genuinely looks like someone captured ice, lime, and a little bit of magic inside the pen.

But my favorite part isn’t the glitter.

It’s the cap.

Most BENU pens have that familiar plastic-on-plastic feel when you unscrew them. These don’t. The threads are unbelievably smooth. The first time I opened one I actually stopped and did it again because it felt so different. It’s one of those little details you don’t appreciate until it’s in your hand.

They’re both on the website now, and they’ll be coming with us to the DC Pen Show (August 6–9) if you’d like to see them in person before deciding.
