Spanish Stirrup Rock Shop Spanish Stirrup Rock Shop is located in Alto & Deming,NM We mine & process all of our 14 claims of American Materials. Deming shop- Oct-Mar Alto shop May-Sept.

Our production facility is over 10k sq ft of equip We are a rock hounders' paradise. We have rough, cut, slabbed, cabbed, and polished rocks of all types. We specialize in Thundereggs from the area. We dig all of our own material in New Mexico. We currently have 10 active deposits. We do all our own cutting and polishing. Known for Lava Cap & Eggzilla. We also have the fluorescing thunder eggs (re

d & green). We are open by apt and during scheduled shows as well as Saturdays. Our new showroom/gallery will blow you away.

MAINTENANCE POST —-
Tore our 30” Covington Rociprolap down yesterday so I could put new bearings in. (This pan is a designated polish pan.) Pulled the pad and rubber liner to find a narly mess of rust. I put our plate dresser on it, sprayed WD40 on the pan and grabbed my steel wool. It took all of 5 minutes to have the pan cleaned up.
I then used our engine lift and bracket to pull the pan to change out the bearings. Video in comments. 💪⛏
